5.0 out of 5 stars                  Liverpool and the people who live there. Kind, Funny, Real and Good.
13 February 2020
'This book evokes memories of Liverpool and the people who live  there. They are a breed apart with defining characteristics, kindness,  humor, and a certain roguishness. The book is a snapshot of daily life  of ordinary people having a moment of their lives focused and preserved.  No narrative and the viewer/reader is left to fill in the blank spaces  and reveal to themselves their own prejudices and opinions. Liverpool is  a wonderful city.'

'Barry is a great photographer and this book is a heartfelt  gift of beautifully observed scenes of Merseyside places and people.  If you are from Liverpool you may even recognise yourself in one or more  of the photos! A real treasure of a book full of photographs.'

5.0 out of 5 stars            Liverpudlians

'Barry is a talented photographer and a sensitive observer  whose affection for the people of Liverpool shines through in this fine  collection. If you have never visited Merseyside before, it might entice you to visit, or, if you have been, it would serve as beautifully crafted memento. Many parts of the city and many colourful characters  are captured by Barry's inquistive lens and brought to life. Well worth  the investment.'
